Firakh mashwia (grilled chicken)
4 chickens legs with skin
4 chickens breast with skin
1 large onion
1 tbs olive oil
2 cloves of mashed garlic
salt, pepper
2 tbs plain yogurt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp all spices
1/2 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp oregano
2 tbs lemon juice
combine onion, oil, and garlic in food processor and mix till consistency of paste. In a plastic bag, mix the chickens, onion mix, and the remaining ingredients. Coat chicken thoroughly with marinade, refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Preheat bbq or broiler to 500
oil grill and place the chicken skin side down for about 7 minutes, move clock wise on the grill and leave for about another 5 minutes, turn and cook for additional 10 minutes or till juices run clear. Allow to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
